Simply click this button during the list order process to have your direct mail list delivered directly to your Facebook ad account using Deep Sync's secure, proprietary API.

Q: What is the Reach Your Audience Online feature?

A: The Reach Your Audience Online feature (which we like to call the "Digital Easy Button") delivers direct mail lists to your Facebook Ad Account through an API-based process. At the time the list is purchased, you simply enter your Facebook Account ID into ConsumerList.com or ResidentList.com when prompted. Deep Sync manages the steps to match and deliver the data to your Facebook ad account.

 

Q: How does Compact's postal data translate to a Facebook audience?

A: Facebook permits the matching of first- and third-party datasets to their proprietary audiences for advertising purposes. Deep Sync utilizes Facebook’s matching protocols to translate our consumer and resident postal data to a shared (third-party) Facebook audience.

 

Q: What attributes from Compact's postal data are used in the Facebook matching process?

A: First Names, Last Names, Email Addresses, and Telephone Numbers are the primary identifiers used for matching Compact's postal data to Facebook. The following attributes are also taken into consideration when available: City, State, Zip Code, Date of Birth, Year of Birth, Gender, and Age.

 

Q: Are postal addresses part of the Facebook matching process?

A: No, postal addresses (Street Number, Street Name, Post-Directional, etc.) are not part of the Facebook matching process; however, City, State, and Zip Code are.

 

Q: For ResidentList orders, not all records have names. Are names required?

A: Yes, names are required for matching Compact’s postal data to Facebook’s audiences. When ordering data from ResidentList.com, please add contact names to your list output to proceed.

 

Q: What is the expected match rate from the postal list to Facebook?

A: We typically see match rates between 20% and 40%.

 

Q: What is the recommended number of records for the Easy Button?
A: We recommend a minimum of 5,000 records but encourage a list of 10,000 records or more.

 

Q: How quickly is the data delivered to my Facebook ad account?

A: Generally speaking, the data is delivered to your Facebook Ad Account within 24 hours.

 

Q: Where do I find my Facebook Ad Account ID?

A: You can find your Facebook Ad Account ID by logging into your Facebook account and opening the Ads Manager. The Ad Account ID can be found on the Account Overview and Campaign tab.

 

Q: Where will I find the shared audience?

A: Shared audiences are found in the Audience Tab within the Facebook Business Manager. Please note that you will need to accept Facebook’s shared audience notification to proceed.

 

Q: What happens if I cannot find the shared audience?

A: We encourage you to use the search feature within the Audience tab to find the shared audience. The naming convention of the shared audience is as follows: DSL_EZ_client_name_orderid. If after searching you still cannot find the shared audience, please contact the Digital & Cloud Team at support@deepsync.com for assistance.

 

Q: I am getting a “Custom Audience Error." What should I do?

A: This is a known error that occurs within Facebook and can be easily resolved. Please contact the Digital & Cloud Team at support@deepsync.com for assistance. You will need to provide your Facebook Ad Account ID.

 

Q: I have a new Facebook Ad Account. Can I use this feature?

A: Established Facebook access is required for the Reach Your Audience Online option to work correctly. If you are brand new to Facebook advertising, please contact the Digital & Cloud Team at support@deepsync.com for further assistance. 

 

Q: Is Facebook the only option for delivery? Can the data be delivered to another social media ad account?

A: At this time, Facebook is the only option for delivery using the Reach Your Audience Online feature. Deep Sync supports more than 700 digital destinations and is able to address the needs of your specific campaigns. Please speak with your Account Representative for additional recommendations.

 

Q: Does Deep Sync set-up and manage my Facebook advertising campaign once the shared audience is delivered?

A: Deep Sync does not provide Facebook campaign management services. We deliver the data to your Ad Account and you are able to begin creating campaigns from there.

 

Q: How does pricing work for these orders?

A: Pricing is simple! You will pay a 30% Facebook audience creation and delivery fee on top of your standard list rental rate. This fee applies whether the list is single-use or multi-use. For example:

  • A single-use list is purchased for $1,000.00. A 30% Facebook audience creation and delivery fee ($300.00) is added to the purchase price for a total of $1,300.00.
  • Likewise, a multi-use list is purchased for $2,500.00. A 30% Facebook audience creation and delivery free ($750.00) is added to the purchase price for a total of $3,250.00.

 

Q: Can I have a previously purchased list matched and delivered to Facebook?

A: In current state, this service is only available at the point of purchase and cannot be applied retroactively; however, we can support the onboarding of your list through the Deep Sync One platform. Review our Enhanced Onboarding User Guide to learn more!
